Diagnosis for Upper Sixth pupil

Chris and Sue provided a late autism diagnosis to our 18-year old son who was not identified as potentially needing this until the end of Lower Sixth. We had been warned that it would take at least six months to start the process, but they were able to do this within a few months, which was really helpful for him to be able to get some adjustments in place for A-levels and include the diagnosis on his UCAS application. They were friendly and understanding throughout the process, and our son has found this a positive experience.

Excellent service and report, wonderful therapists

Excellent service. Chris and Sue were very accommodating of my request for an appointment at short notice. Communication was excellent. Incredibly sensitive and empathic therapists. They really saw the person and that is just what we want and need. The report was excellent. Thank-you so much.

Calm-understanding-respectful

I was extremely nervous about the whole thing, and Chris and Sue both put me at ease. My child wasn’t easy as she masks so much but they were so professional and they could still see behind her masking. Honestly so happy with how Chris was with my little girl she was nervous and he was very calm and respected her wishes with having me near by. He listened and understood. Sue was amazing she listened to everything even when we went of subject and started a new one. Thank you both so much for your patience and understanding.

Compassionate and skilled

The team were thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly. They were kind, patient, compassionate, understanding, skilled and helped both my daughter and I feel calm and relaxed throughout. We are both very grateful for the care and professionalism that they showed throughout and would highly recommend them.

Highly recommended service

I would highly recommend using Pebble Autism. I was very apprehensive about find an autism assessment service for my 20 year old daughter. The websites I look at came across as very clinical and impersonal. However, then I found Pebble Autism. Their website comes across with warmth and understanding and I just felt we would be in safe hands, and I was right. Both Chris and Sue are extremely professional, respectful and and knowledgeable but also demonstrate a lot of understanding, warmth and compassion. They seemed to really get my daughter and got her to engage much more than I expected. They made the whole process as stress free and relaxed as possible, and I felt they genuinely cared and wanted the best for my daughter. Their communication was excellent throughout and the report was extremely helpful. They also provided a lot of information in the appendices which was tailored to our needs. I thank them both for their understanding and support through this process.

Parent of two children who have been assessed by Pebbles Autism:Could not rate the service Sue and Chris provided highly enough. From start to finish it was outstanding.The school have commented that the reports generated after the assessment have been the most detailed report they had ever been sent. I have referred back to it many timesThank you again
